Doc’s Journey - Greg’s Toy Machines

I love my days with the Powers! They have been talking all morning about something called a wedding and a Torre. I don’t know what they are, but the Powers sound excited about it. They keep talking about this Torre coming over in a day or two. The way the Powers are talking, it sounds like they know this Torre really well. Torre even knows Steven, that’s my sister Chelsea’s human. Hummmpft. I don’t know what all the fuss is with Torre but it looks like I’m gonna find out.

Today Ann got out this big and loud house machine that kept chasing me. It must have been strong cause Ann had a hold of it but it kept running away from her on the carpet. IT CAME RIGHT AT ME!!!!! I ran as fast as I could I was so scared. Ann kept telling me it was “ok Buddy”, but I hid behind my bed anyway. If it is that strong that it can drag Ann across the carpet; who knows what else it can do.

Greg’s home! I can hear him laughing. I hope he’s not laughing at me? That big house machine is scary! Once Greg stopped laughing, he took me out to his toy building. He said he had to work on his little machine that spits grass. I hope he doesn’t sit on it again. That’s when all the noise and grass started flying. I was so worried that machine would hurt him. It was hard to be worried and scared at the same time. Good thing Ann was there to protect me! I could hide behind her legs and make sure Greg stayed safe from that grass spitting monster. Ann could tell I was really scared so she took me back into the house; didn’t do any good. I could still hear that grass spitting monster inside! I snuck away and hid behind the couch this time. I did want THAT chasing me.

Once the noise stopped, Greg came back in the house. Thank goodness he was able to get off that thing! He looked ok. He smelled ok. I think he is safe. Ann made kibble for everyone and we ate! Who knew that loud machines make me hungry?  After our kibble I got to sleep on Ann while Ann and Greg watched TV. Ann is so warm and comfortable……
