We’ve partnered with Pam’s Pawsitive Training and other local trainers, to bring you in-house dog training classes, which allows you to train your dog alongside a D2DT dog in training.
Training Classes
Positive reinforcement training for an all around better dog.
Each class includes numerous trainers to make sure each participant is receiving the guided instruction needed to succeed.
All classes are free for veterans and offered to non-Veterans at a reduced rate.
Individual Training
This training is perfect for those in need of one-on-one instruction for basic obedience, training issues and advanced training.
Behaviorist Consultation
Is your dog jumping on your guests or begging at the table? Need prompt behavior changes? Then this is for you!
Puppy Socialization and Training
This is excellent first in-person, playgroup training class designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start.
STAR Puppy provides a good lead-in to earning the Canine Good Citizen title.
Adult Dog Training
All dogs can be good dogs, and all owners can be great owners: all it takes is a little bit of training, lots of love, and of course, plenty of praise along the way.
Out and About Training
This class helps your dog with the distractions associated with traffic, crowds, and other unique challenges in an urban setting. We will work on entering and doorways, walking through a crowd, street safety, public building manners including stairs and elevators, and transportation safety.
Girls Rule
A hands-on group class helping females get the same respect and response from their dog that their male partners do.

Our trainers have years of experience working with dogs and a wide range of backgrounds including: Certified Animal Behavior Consultant, Certified Dog Trainer, Certified Military Dog Trainer, Police K-9 Handler, Trained Animal Playgroup Monitor.

Playgroups
We offer two different playgroups, Supervised and Advanced.
Supervised playgroups are designed for socialization, mental stimulation, and exercise. During playgroups, trainers will teach you the signs of healthy play and answer any questions you may have.
Advanced playgroups are available for those dogs who have successfully completed at least one of our dog classes and have been approved by our trainers
